Trust Badges
Trust badges are small icons paired with a short line of text that appear on your product pages to reassure a shopper before they buy — for example, confirming that payment is cash on delivery, or that the product is guaranteed. Adding them to a product page typically increases customer trust and conversion rates.
Available badges
Zimam provides four ready-made badges, each with a default title and description you can edit:
- Secure Payment — Cash on delivery
- Easy Returns — Return the product within 3 days
- 100% Guaranteed — Genuine product with a quality guarantee
- Fast Delivery — Delivered within 24-48 hours
These four badges are fixed — you can't add a new one or change its type — but you can turn each one on or off independently, and edit its title and description to match your store and its language.
Getting to the settings
- From your dashboard, open the Apps section.
- Find the Trust Badges card (description: "Increase customer trust with badges").
- Click Configure Settings to open the settings page.
Note: Trust Badges is available starting from the Starter plan and above — it is not included in the Free (pay-per-order) plan. If your current plan doesn't include it, the card shows a Locked badge and a "Not included in current plan" message, and the button becomes Upgrade Plan instead.
Enabling and customizing badges
- On the Trust Badges settings page, you'll see the four badges, each in its own card.
- Use the toggle switch next to a badge to turn it on ("Active on product page") or off ("Disabled").
- Once a badge is enabled, its Title and Description fields appear so you can edit the copy for your store — you can type in Arabic, French, or English freely.
- Watch the Live Preview panel alongside the settings — it updates as you type and shows exactly how the enabled badges will look on the product page. If every badge is disabled, the preview shows "No badges enabled".
- When you're done, click Save Settings. A "Settings saved successfully!" confirmation appears once the save completes.
Good to know
- On the actual product page, trust badges are typically displayed just below the buy button.
- Each badge's text renders in the preview in whichever direction you typed it (right-to-left for Arabic, left-to-right for French/English) — no need to worry if your badge text is in a different language than your storefront.
- You can leave any badge disabled if it doesn't fit your business (for example, "Easy Returns" if your store policy doesn't allow returns), and it will be fully excluded from the product page.
