Connecting TikTok Pixel

The TikTok Pixel is a measurement tool that tracks how your TikTok ads perform for your store, so you can optimize your campaigns for better results. Zimam gives you a dedicated screen to connect it straight from the dashboard — no code editing required.

Note: This feature is available on plans that include TikTok Pixel. If your current plan doesn't include it, the app card shows "Not included in current plan," and its Upgrade button takes you straight to Plans & Billing.

Where to find the setting

  1. From the dashboard sidebar, open the Pixels section.
  2. Find the TikTok Pixel card among the tracking pixels and analytics tools, and click Open App to go to its setup page.

Connecting your TikTok pixel

  1. On the TikTok Pixel setup page, optionally enter a Pixel Name (useful if you run more than one pixel — e.g. "Main Store").
  2. Enter the Pixel ID you got from TikTok Ads Manager (it looks like CWXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX).
  3. Click Save Pixel Settings.
  4. On success you'll see a "Pixel settings saved successfully" confirmation. If saving fails (e.g. a connection issue), an error message asks you to check your connection and try again.

What the pixel tracks

Once your pixel ID is saved, Zimam automatically includes the TikTok tag on your storefront, which lets you:

  • Track how your TikTok ads perform for your store.
  • Measure the real-world impact of your campaigns, not just what happens inside TikTok.
  • Improve ad targeting based on actual visitor behavior on your store.

Verifying the pixel is working

The setup page includes a direct link to install TikTok Pixel Helper, TikTok's official Chrome extension. After installing it and opening your storefront, it lets you confirm the pixel is actually installed and firing correctly.

Good to know

  • Connecting the pixel needs no manual code changes to your storefront — just save the ID from the dashboard.
  • You can go back to the pixels list anytime with the Back to Pixels button at the top of the page.
  • If your current plan doesn't include this app, you won't be able to open its setup page until you upgrade.
