Sticky Contact Buttons

Zimam lets you add floating contact buttons — a phone call button and/or a WhatsApp button — that stay visible to shoppers as they browse your store, making it easy for them to reach you directly before placing an order. Each channel can be turned on independently, and you choose which pages it appears on.

This feature depends on your plan — if the Quick Contact Buttons card in the Apps section shows a Locked badge and a "Not included in current plan" message, it isn't included in your current plan, and its button takes you to the upgrade (Plans) page instead of the settings page.

Turning the buttons on

  1. From the dashboard, open the Apps section, then select Quick Contact Buttons.
  2. Each contact channel (Phone Call or WhatsApp) has its own toggle switch next to its name — turn on whichever channel you want to use.
  3. Enter the contact number for that channel:
    • Phone Call: enter the Phone Number exactly as you want it dialed.
    • WhatsApp: enter the Country code (e.g. 213 for Algeria, with no +) in the first field, then the Number without leading 0 in the second field. Zimam combines the two automatically to build the correct WhatsApp link.
  4. Click Save Contact Settings to save your changes.

Once a channel is enabled, a Display locations panel appears underneath it so you can choose where the button shows up.

Display locations

Each channel (phone/WhatsApp) has two independent placement options:

  • Storefront: when enabled, the button appears on your store's home page and landing pages. When disabled, the button does not appear on those pages — even if the channel itself is turned on.
  • Product pages: controls whether the button appears on product pages, completely independently of the Storefront option:
    • Click Select all to show the button on every product's page.
    • Or pick specific products from the list (via the checkbox next to each one) to show the button only on those pages. Click Clear all to deselect everything.
    • A counter next to the Product pages heading shows how many products are currently selected out of your total.

In other words, you can, for example, show the WhatsApp button on every product page but not on the home page, or the opposite — whatever fits your store.

Good to know

  • A button never appears if its channel is turned off or its number is empty, even if the display-location options are enabled.
  • The phone button opens the shopper's phone dialer directly; the WhatsApp button opens a new WhatsApp chat with the number you entered.
  • If your store has more than 100 products, only the first 100 are shown when you're picking specific product pages.
  • Saving shows a Settings saved successfully! confirmation message.
