QR Code Generator
The QR Code Generator app lets you create a high-quality QR code that sends anyone who scans it to your storefront, to a specific product, or to any external link you provide — handy for posters, invoices, business cards, or any printed marketing material.
Opening the app
From your dashboard, open the Apps section, then select QR Code Generator.
Generating a QR code
- From the Connection Type dropdown, choose what the QR code should point to:
- Store Front — links directly to your storefront's home page.
- Specific Product — links to a single product's page. Once selected, a Select Product field appears so you can pick the product from your catalog.
- External URL — links to any URL you enter yourself (a landing page, a social account, etc.). Enter it in the Destination Link field.
- The resulting link is shown in the QR target field so you can confirm it before generating.
- The QR code generates automatically as soon as a valid link is available, and appears in the preview on the right. You can also click Update QR Code to regenerate it manually.
- Click Download PNG to save the code to your device as a high-resolution image (1024×1024 px) ready for print.
Good to know
- Specific Product only lists products that have a valid public link (a slug). If a product doesn't show up, make sure it's published and has a public URL.
- If your store has no available link yet (for example, no store domain has been set up), you'll see a warning that the store URL is unavailable, and no code will generate until a valid target exists.
- When entering an external URL, you don't need to type
https://yourself — it's added automatically if you leave it out. The app doesn't check that the link is actually correct or reachable, though: any non-empty text will still generate a QR code, even if it isn't a real working link, so double-check what you type. - Each QR code is generated for whatever target was selected at that moment. If you later change the product or the link, you need to generate and download a new code — a previously downloaded one won't update on its own.
