Parcel Labels and Handover Manifest
From Orders you print the labels of parcels you sent to delivery companies, and a handover manifest the driver signs when picking up the parcels. On plans that include Parcel Document, you can also print a label or invoice that Zimam draws with your own layout.
Print parcel labels
- Open Orders and select the orders you want to print.
- In the actions bar, click the printer icon (Print delivery labels).
- Choose the paper size: A4 (4 per sheet) or A6 (1 per sheet).
- Zimam groups the selected orders by delivery company, with the number of parcels for each. Click a company to download its labels.
Good to know:
- Only orders the delivery company has accepted can be printed. Zimam tells you how many of the selected orders cannot be printed.
- Some companies provide no labels: ABEX, Leopard Express, Colilog, Flash Delivery, E-COM Delivery, MDM Express, Zimou Express and Mayar. For their orders, use Parcel Document if your plan includes it (see below).
- After printing a company's labels, you wait a moment before printing that company's labels again. The button shows the time left.
Print the handover manifest
The handover manifest is a sheet the seller and the driver sign at pickup. It records which parcels went to the driver and what they are worth.
- Open Orders and select the orders.
- In the actions bar, click the clipboard icon (Print handover manifest).
- Choose A4 or A6.
- Click a delivery company to download the manifest for its parcels.
Only orders the delivery company has accepted appear on the manifest.
Customize the handover manifest
Open Delivery, then Handover Manifest:
- What to show: COD amount, Recipient phone, Item lines, Order notes, Your reference and Signature lines. Item lines are off by default, because a long manifest with them is hard to use on paper. Without signature lines, the document is a packing list rather than a handover record.
- Branding: Store logo, Header text and Footer text.
- Paper and language: Paper size (A4 or A6), Label language (Arabic, French or English) and Layout direction.
- Text blocks: Pickup instructions and Return policy. They print as plain text.
Click Save draft to keep your changes as a draft. They reach printed manifests only after you click Publish. To drop a draft, click Discard draft. The Preview shows the manifest with sample data.
Parcel Document
The Parcel Document page appears under Delivery only if your plan includes this feature, which is available on the Enterprise plan. It lets you print a document Zimam draws instead of the delivery company's label.
Design the document
- Open Delivery, then Parcel Document.
- Under Document type, choose:
- Label: one barcode-led sticker per parcel.
- Invoice: one A4 page per order, with item lines and a totals block. The invoice does not fit on A6.
- Under What to show, pick the fields: Store logo, Item lines, Item images, COD amount, Recipient phone, Wilaya code, Tracking barcode and Order number barcode.
- Under Text blocks, fill in the Sender block and Footer text.
- Under Paper and language, choose the Paper size, Label language and Layout direction.
- Click Save draft, then Publish so printing uses it.
Choose the label source per company
Below the template, the Label source panel lists your connected companies. Turn on Print Zimam's document for each company whose document you want Zimam to draw. Print delivery labels then shows a Parcel Document tag on that company and prints your document instead of the company's label, including for companies that provide no labels. The carrier's own label stays available even after you switch.
If your plan no longer includes this feature, Zimam prints the company's own label instead of your document and tells you so in the print window.
