Integrations

The Integrations page lets you connect your Meta ad account (Facebook and Instagram) so ad spend reaches Profitability and the P&L automatically. The item appears in the menu under Setup only when ad account connection is available. If you open the page and it is not available, you see Meta ads integration is not available on this deployment.

Connect Meta

Only owners and managers can manage the connection. Everyone else sees the status with the message Only owners and managers can manage this connection.

  1. Open Integrations and click Connect Meta.
  2. Sign in to Meta and approve the request. Meta sends you back to Zimam Manager.
  3. If the login can act on more than one ad account, the Choose an ad account page appears. Click Use this account beside the account you want to sync.
  4. The message Meta connected — redirecting… appears, then you return to Integrations.

If the connection fails, the message explains why, such as you declined the request in Meta or the connection link expired. Click Back to Integrations and try again.

The Meta Ads card

The card shows the connection status: Connected, Not connected, Expired or Revoked. When connected, it also shows Ad account, Connected since and Token expires.

  • Sync now: fetches ad spend right away. A message with the number of updated records appears afterwards. If another sync is already running, a message asks you to try again shortly.
  • Disconnect: stops future syncs, and past data is kept. A confirmation message appears first.
  • Reconnect: replaces the two buttons when the connection is Expired or Revoked.

Campaigns

The Campaigns section appears only for members with the Sees costs permission. Map each campaign to the product it promotes, and its spend appears in Profitability under that product.

  1. Search for the campaign by name or ID, or narrow the list with Mapped, Status, Store and Source.
  2. Click Map on the campaign's row.
  3. In the Map to a product window, choose the Store, search for the product by name, then click Select.

To remove a mapping, click Unmap and confirm. The campaign's future spend then shows as unattributed.

Mapped campaigns come first and carry a Mapped badge. A campaign marked History only has past spend but no longer exists in Meta. The Source list switches between Live (Meta) and History only.

The columns are Campaign, Status, Mapped product, Spend, Lifetime spend, Daily budget and Lifetime budget, in the workspace currency. Spend covers the last 30 days, and Lifetime spend covers everything spent on the campaign. A ⚠ mark beside Lifetime spend means part of the spend is waiting for an exchange rate. A — shows when a figure is not available.
