Cash Position

The Cash Position page answers one question: how much money came in and went out over a period?

Who can see it

You need both permissions: Sees costs and Sees expenses & payroll. Without both, the item does not appear in the menu, and if you open the page you see You do not have permission to view the cash position. The owner sets permissions in Team.

Pick the period

  • Choose the period with the period buttons (such as Last 30 days or This month) or Custom range. The default is the last 30 days.
  • Choose Group by: Day, Week or Month.

The period widens to whole days, weeks or months, depending on the grouping. A small line under the title shows the period actually used, such as Showing 2026-09-01 – 2026-09-30.

The cards

  • Net this period: money in minus money out.
  • Cumulative (this period): starts from zero at the beginning of the selected period. It is not a bank balance.
  • Expected remittances: what delivery companies owe you right now for delivered orders not yet remitted. It is a figure for today and does not change with the period. Details are in Remittances.
  • Outstanding supplier debt: what you owe suppliers right now, also a figure for today. Details are in Suppliers.

The last two cards put money waiting to come in beside money waiting to go out.

The chart and the table

The In vs. out chart compares the periods, with a Cumulative line. The Breakdown table splits each period into columns:

  • In: the remittances you received from delivery companies.
  • Out (expenses), Out (payroll) and Out (purchases).
  • Net and Cumulative.

Click the title of any money column to sort the table. When there is no activity, No cash movements in this period. appears.

Figures show in the workspace currency. If an exchange rate is missing for a currency, the message Some figures can't be converted yet appears, and an owner or manager can click Add exchange rate.

Payroll counts as money out only after you click Finalize on a statement. See Payroll.
