Connect Facebook Pixel

Once you save a Meta Pixel ID, the pixel runs on every page of your store and sends Meta page views, product views, add-to-cart, checkout starts and purchases. This tool is available on every plan.

Video narrated in Arabic.

Add the pixel

  1. In the sidebar, open Pixels.
  2. On the Facebook Pixel card, click Open App.
  3. In Pixel Name, type a name that helps you recognize it, such as "Main Store". This field is optional.
  4. In Pixel ID, paste the pixel ID from Meta Events Manager. The ID is 15 or 16 digits.
  5. Click Save Pixel Settings.

When the save succeeds, you see Pixel settings saved successfully.

If you paste the whole pixel code instead of the ID, Zimam extracts the ID from it when you leave the field and shows Pixel id extracted from the pasted code.

Read the pixel's status

Each pixel shows two badges:

  • Browser: firing — the ID is saved and the pixel runs in the visitor's browser. Browser: enter a pixel id means the field is empty.
  • Server: connected — an access token is saved and events are also sent from the server. Server: add a token means no token is saved. See Meta Conversions API.

More than one ad account

Click Add another ad account to add a second pixel. You can add up to 5 Facebook pixels; at that point you see Maximum reached for this platform.

Add one pixel per ad account. To track products or campaigns separately, use campaign breakdowns in Ads Manager instead of adding another pixel. Every event goes to all saved pixels.

Remove a pixel

  1. Click the trash icon above the pixel.
  2. If the pixel has a saved access token, click Confirm removal.
  3. Click Save Pixel Settings.
