Your Account & Profile

The Profile Settings page in your dashboard is where you manage your own account as a seller — your name, email, phone number and password — check your email verification status, and set the language your dashboard interface is displayed in.

Updating your personal information

  1. Open Profile Settings (usually from the account menu in the top bar).
  2. Edit any of the following fields:
    • Full Name
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
  3. Click Save Changes.

If you haven't actually changed anything, you'll see a message telling you there's nothing to save instead of a misleading success message. If your email or phone number isn't in a valid format, an error appears under the field and nothing is saved until you fix it.

Verifying your email address

If your email address isn't verified yet, a banner titled "Verify your email address" appears at the top of the Profile Settings page, explaining that confirming it helps keep your seller account secure, along with a Resend verification email button.

  • Clicking the button sends a new verification email to your registered address; while it's sending, the button label changes to "Sending...".
  • If your email is already verified, you'll see a message saying so.
  • If you request a resend too often, a message asks you to wait before requesting another one.
  • If sending fails, an error message tells you it couldn't be sent and to try again later.

Once you confirm your email through the link you receive, this banner disappears automatically.

Changing your password

  1. From the Profile Settings page, click Change Password.
  2. In the dialog that opens, enter:
    • Current Password
    • New Password
    • Confirm New Password
  3. As you type your new password, the page checks it live against these requirements and marks each one with a green indicator once it's met:
    • At least 8 characters
    • One symbol (e.g. !@#$)
    • One number
    • One uppercase letter
  4. Click Save Changes to complete the change.

If the new password and confirmation don't match, the strength requirements aren't met, or the current password field is left empty, you'll see a clear error and nothing is changed. On success, a confirmation message appears and the dialog closes automatically a moment later.

Dashboard language

Below the personal information fields is a Dashboard Language setting. It controls the language your dashboard interface — its buttons, menus and text — is displayed in, for you as the seller, only.

⚠️ This is separate from the "Storefront Language" setting on the Settings page, which controls the language your customers see on your storefront. Changing your personal dashboard language here has no effect on what customers see, and vice versa.

Pick your language from the dropdown; the options are shown by their own native names rather than translated (العربية, English, Français), so you can recognize your language even if you're currently stuck in one you don't read. Your choice is saved to your account immediately and follows you across devices when you log in; call center agents (who log in with a separate agent account) have their language choice saved only in the browser, not synced to the account.

Good to know

  • The name, email and phone number here are your personal account details as the account owner — not your store's public information, which customers see (that's managed from the Settings page instead).
  • The email verification banner reflects your account's real verification status and refreshes automatically whenever you switch back to this tab — no need to manually reload the page after clicking the confirmation link in your email.
  • Your current password is only required when changing your password; saving the other fields doesn't need it.
